Pax Autocratica officially requires Windows 10 64-bit, 16 GB RAM, DirectX 11, and 40 GB storage; the minimum GPU differs between the listed 1080p and 1440p cases.

The table is a transcription of the supplied Steam research, not a benchmark. It does not promise a specific frame rate, preset, colony size, or battle load.
Distinguish the two minimum GPU cases
The minimum line in the supplied research has separate graphics guidance for 1080p and 1440p. GTX 1060 6 GB or RX 480 6 GB is the 1080p case. GTX 1070 8 GB or RX Vega 56 8 GB is the 1440p case.
Do not compress those into one generic minimum, because resolution is part of the published distinction. The recommended line moves to RTX 2060 Super or RX 5700 XT with at least 8 GB VRAM, but it still does not guarantee a particular resolution and frame-rate target.
Treat requirements as an entry point
Early Access performance can vary with resolution, display mode, colony scale, large combat scenes, DLSS, and Frame Generation state. Meeting the table means the hardware matches a published class; it does not establish that every scene or setting combination is stable.
If performance is poor, keep a reproducible scene and follow the performance guide. That workflow starts with the latest build and the official file-verification, DLSS, and Frame Generation checks before lowering unrelated settings.
Keep Windows and Proton claims separate
Steam currently lists Windows support in the supplied research. Individual Linux or Proton reports do not change the official platform statement. A user may experiment in that environment, but a community success or launch option cannot be described as official support or a guaranteed fix.
Compare a machine without guessing
Record the exact CPU and GPU model, installed RAM, available storage, Windows version, target resolution, and whether the game is using DLSS or Frame Generation. For a laptop, identify the GPU actually used by the game rather than assuming the discrete adapter is active.
Below-minimum hardware may still launch, but the supplied evidence cannot promise acceptable results. Above-recommended hardware can still expose a build-specific crash. Use the table to classify the system, then use a controlled current-build test to diagnose behavior.
